What Tell Tail Heart Stands For:

Communication

"Tell" represents the high level of communication TTH aims to have with its clients. For instance, Taylor usually messages pet parents when she is on the way to do a service, or if there has been a change in her schedule. Additionally, for dog walks and visits, Taylor always provides a summary afterwards of how things went. For house sitting, she is happy to send up to four updates each day. Taylor does her best to answer clients' messages promptly as well.

Enrichment

Affection

"Tail" refers to all of the furry friends Taylor gets to work with, particularly dogs and cats. "Tail" also refers to the goal of making canine clients' tails wag or feline clients purr and knead by partaking in enriching activities. For dogs, this includes playing fetch, exploring a new walking route, or putting treats in a pet puzzle. For cats, Taylor can toss springs or balls, wave wand toys around, let them outside if allowed, or give squeeze up treats.

"Heart" symbolizes all of the love and affection your fur baby will receive when they're with Taylor (if they enjoy that, of course). TTH recognizes that it can be tough for pets when their parents are away, so we offer lots of attention. If your pet prefers alone time, that's fine too! Either way, Taylor loves when dogs cuddle on the couch with her or cats lay in her lap. She also likes giving forehead kisses, belly rubs, and lots of praise.

TTH is currently a one-woman-show ran by Taylor Tieder. Taylor holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Florida State University; she graduated Summa Cum Laude and with honors. After walking across the stage in 2024, Taylor began her job hunt. She tried out a few office-style positions, and quickly realized working at a desk all day wasn't for her. So, she turned to what made her happy: spending time with her family dog, Chase.

In November 2024, she began her professional pet sitting journey with Rover. Since then, she has found joy working with a variety of breeds ranging from yorkies to labrador retrievers to domestic longhair cats. Some of her favorite aspects of this job are building bonds with animals, putting smiles on pets' faces, spending time in nature, and being her own boss. When she's not busy cuddling dogs or waving a cat toy around, she enjoys trying new restaurants, seeing plays at the Fox Theatre, and laughing with her family.
